The Estate
Villa Thalassa — Est. 2018
Perched on a private headland above the Cretan Sea, Villa Thalassa was conceived as a meditation on stone, water, and silence. Local craftsmen shaped the structure from the same limestone that defines the island's coastline — its surfaces warm in the morning light, cool in the afternoon shade.
Within the estate's three thousand square metres, four bedrooms open onto private terraces that dissolve into the horizon pool — each oriented to receive the first and last light of the Aegean day. There are no neighbouring rooftops. Only sea.

The Villa
Villa Thalassa is offered exclusively as a whole — never shared, never divided. The estate, its staff, and the sea are yours alone.

The villa's principal bedroom opens on three sides to the Aegean. Hand-plastered limestone walls, a stone soaking bath, and a private terrace that catches the first light of every morning.

A single volume of stone and glass that dissolves indoors into outdoors. The dining table seats twelve beneath a pergola of bougainvillea. The kitchen is built for those who cook with intention.

Set at the headland's edge, the horizon pool appears to pour directly into the Aegean below. A submerged ledge faces west — positioned for the exact moment the sun meets the water.

LOCAL GASTRONOMY
Each evening, our chef sources directly from the island's growers, fishermen, and winemakers. Meals are unhurried, eaten outdoors, facing the last light.
HIDDEN BEACHES
A villa guide leads you along ancient goat paths to cliff-sheltered beaches accessible only from the sea or on foot. Cool water, hot stone, complete silence.
